Résumé

In the context of a fast-evolving bioengineering field, the aim of this teaching experiment was to guide students towards the construction of a multidimensional knowledge (integrating linguistic, ethical and biological aspects) which could help them to develop holistic, open and precise research at a later stage. Through a project-based approach in small teams, a meaningful cross-curricular training was designed for undergraduate Engineering students specialized in Biomaterials for Health. Thus, disciplinary knowledge and skills that are essential to the 21st century engineers were built as early as the 2nd year of Bachelor’s degree. That is what will be described, analysed and assessed in this article.
